Theme hospital was a classic. My brother and I would repeat the tannoy announcements to each other way after we'd finished playing the game for the day! We played it on PC on our Packard Bell running Windows 95 😎
Theme Hospital is a classic! It got me thinking that it's a shame there weren't any more Theme games. Given that EA eventually bought Bullfrog I'm not really surprised. I don't think too many studios bought out by EA in the 90s fared too well. Thanks for reading and sharing your memories with me. 😎
You've reminded me about a classic. I bought this game for the PC as a present to my friend - he was also probably wondering why I chose this one, it didn't seem in line with either of our typical styles. Yet, like Theme Park, we both fell in love playing it together. The sense of humour was the best part of it.
Sometimes the weirdest picks end up being the most memorable! Did you ever play Theme Park, or Dungeon Keeper? I keep hearing that Dungeon Keeper is Bullfrogs finest.
Oh yes, this game gets in your veins and stays there! Hats off to you playing the PS1 port, I struggled enough on a PC, especially in the later levels where your hospital became much larger.
The diseases were indeed the best. I enjoyed the invisible men and the Elvises. Each new one felt so fun to discover and try to solve 🤣
Yeah, that's a good point and something I didn't bring up actually. Once you get to the bigger hospitals with lots going on the PlayStation reallly struggles. Maybe that's why I never completed it lol. Thanks for reading Amy. 🙂

I did play Theme Park. It was a lot of fun building the most dangerous theme park possible and tormenting the guests in humorous ways 😁
“Coughs and sneezes spread diseases!”
